ASU has three part-time employment programs available
to assist students in financing their educational expenses while in college:
- 1. The Federal College Work Study Program
- 2. The Part-time Student Employment Program
- 3. The Job Location and Development Program
The Federal Work Study
Program, is a part-time employment program for students who qualify
through the Financial Aid office based upon federal eligibility.

Through the Part-time Student
Employment Program, opportunities for employment on campus
are available in limited numbers. Each job is limited to no more
than 20 hours weekly and pays the Arkansas minimum wage. These
part-time student positions are also posted in
Career
Connections. All current students are eligible for this type of employment - even international
students. Assistance in securing an off campus part-time
job
is also available from the Career Services Center through the Job
Location and Development Program. Hundreds of opportunities
are posted in Career
Connections
each year. Interested students should
review the jobs and internships on
Career Connections then contact the off-campus employer to set up an
interview.
The Career Services Center is open from 8 AM to 5
PM, Monday through Friday. We are open 24 hours daily through
Career Connections.
