Any college student or graduate pursuing
or holding a college certificate or degree seeking career employment.
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors may attend for internship opportunities,
to get an early start of introducing yourselves to future employers, or for
career informational purposes.
What should I wear?
If
you are actively pursuing employment or an internship, dress
business professional - that means wearing a business suit (nothing
else is appropriate!). If you are attending for
informational purposes, dress business appropriate (Men: Sports
coat, shirt & tie, matching slacks; Women: nice skirt [not too
short] or slacks & nice blouse).
What should I bring?
For
those actively seeking employment or an internship, bring several
copies of your resume (15-20).
What types of employers attend the Health Professions and Education Job
Fairs?
Health Care Organizations,
Hospitals, Ambulance Services, Medic Services, Nursing Homes.
K-12
Schools, Graduate Schools, both Public and Private.
How much does it cost for students & graduates to attend?
There is No Charge for students and graduates.
How should I prepare - what are some tips for success?
Adequate preparation includes researching the participating
organizations to discover what positions they are recruiting to fill, to
learn about the history of the organization, and what services or
products they provide. Use the Internet to do your research.
